Yakima Valley Door Co. exists because of a gap anyone in Yakima can verify with five phone calls: try reaching a garage door company here at 6 PM on a Tuesday, or any time on a Saturday. The valley’s door businesses are established, capable outfits — and nearly all of them close by 4 or 5 on weekdays and go dark on weekends. Garage doors, unfortunately, prefer to fail on the first freezing morning of January, on Saturday with the car inside, or at 7 PM when everyone finally gets home.
So we built the thing the valley was missing: a garage door service whose phones are answered 7 days a week, 7 AM to 9 PM, with same-day priority for doors that are stuck, unsafe, or holding a vehicle hostage.
How we’re set up
Yakima Valley Door Co. is a locally focused service brand. We answer the calls, do the triage, give you honest pricing ranges, and book the work. The repairs and installations themselves are performed by an independent, licensed and registered Washington garage door contractor we partner with — a real local pro with real trucks and the parts stock for the valley’s common doors. One number, one accountable experience, valley-wide: Yakima, Selah, Union Gap, West Valley, Moxee, and Terrace Heights.
What we insist on
- A person answers. Evenings, weekends, cold snaps — when it matters most is exactly when we’re reachable.
- Pricing before wrenches. A range on the phone, a firm number before work starts, and no invoice surprises.
- Honest triage. Some problems have a 60-second free fix over the phone. We’ll tell you when yours is one of them.
- Licensed work. Every job is performed by a registered Washington contractor, per state law — ask for the registration number any time.
